Penile Candidiasis, one of the worst forms of yeast infection in men, is something no man would want to get. As it is most commonly associated with women, the thought of yeast infection in a man hardly crosses the minds of people. Unfortunately, the fact that it exists is already living proof that it is indeed possible and not something to be taken lightly.
The candida fungus has no sexual preference. Rather, it thrives in any place as long as the conditions are right. Sufficient warmth, moisture and darkness are all that is needed for it to fester and grow out of control. The penis, especially the area under the foreskin on uncircumcised men, holds these conditions that allow the yeast infection to manifest. The mouth, armpits, skin folds and ears, among others, are also ideal places for the candida to overgrow.
In fact, candida is present in all the exposed areas of our bodies as long as these conditions are present, even if they are in their mildest forms. The problem arises when the fungus overgrows to an uncontrollable state, which is exactly what the term candidiasis refers to. This can be caused by various factors including but not limited to poor eating habits, hygiene, antibiotics and a compromised immune system.

What causes low sperm counts in some men? There are plenty of reasons for this.
- Alcohol and excessive smoking.
- Tight underpants and sitting for long hours.
- Bathing in hot water.
- Obesity.
- Mental and physical overexertion.
- Zinc deficiency.
- Anabolic steroid abuse.
- Infections in the prostate and other sexual organs.
Here are 10 ways you can increase the sperm counts:
- Stop smoking. Avoid alcohol. Alcohol damages the ability of the liver to function properly and this leads to an increase in Estrogen - The feminizing hormone!
- Have sex and masturbate less often: Repeated masturbation (Yes, some men do it 3-4 times a day) can lead to a decrease in the semen volume. Masturbation is no doubt good but too much of any good thing is always a problem!
- Make love early in the morning or afternoon. Sperm levels are always at their highest in the mornings.
- Exercise: Exercise improves circulation, stamina and exercise aimed at the PC muscle helps you to shoot further!
- Avoid heating the scrotal area too often: Always wear loose, cotton boxers. Avoid hot baths and saunas.
- Lose excess weight: Losing weight not only improves your general health but also improves imbalances between Testosterone and Estrogen.
- Eat healthy and nutritious food: Diet that’s low in fat, and high in protein, vegetables, and whole grains is good for your health and for your sperm. Avoid bitter, astringent and spicy foods.Reduce caffeine intake.
- Massage the body with herbal oil as it improves the circulation.
- Reduce stress levels by using relaxation techniques. Meditation and Ayurveda keeps your mind and body healthy.
- Supplements: Natural supplements like Gingko, Ginseng can help increase the production of sperms and also improves the blood circulation to the genitals.
Follow these simple tips and your problems with impotence will be taken care of. Should you feel the necessity to use medications to relieve the ED then always use trusted pills.

If you’re like most guys, you probably haven’t heard of the arousal step down technique, but if you have been looking for help or cures for premature ejaculation you may have heard about Kegel exercises and the PC muscle.
Most men out there are not aware that there are many exercises to prevent premature ejaculation that can help them to boost their sexual performance and staying power. Many of these men often have so-so performances in bed which leave themselves upset and causing frustration in the women they are with because these women don’t have a chance to orgasm. It’s a real bummer for both people.
Ninety-three percent of men that were asked said that they would like to last longer in bed before climaxing, but all of those men had no clue how they could possibly make this happen. The truth is, it is actually easy, not impossible, to maximize your sexual performance and obtain complete control over how long you can last and generally get on down with the ladies.
One sexual method will allow you to take massive control over your arousal levels and always give you the power to choose when to cum or when to keep going. Let’s look at this method…

The first time I suspected my boyfriend of it, I quickly dismissed the thought as ridiculous, but then I actually caught him in the act! One night just before bed I noticed the bathroom light on and went to shut it off, only to find my boyfriend standing in front of the mirror applying my expensive eye firming lotion. It was all I could do not to laugh but instead I quietly returned to bed and never let on as to what I had just seen. Knowing my man cared about his skin may have seemed strange at first, but in reality, it made perfect sense. Skin care for men may not be at the top of their priority list, but believe me it does make the list at some level, why wouldn’t they care about it, I know I do!
Skin care for men is a growing industry many name brand companies known for creating beauty products for women are now getting in on…healthy skin is the latest trend.
Men’s skin care use to mean aftershave and hand salve for dry hands but today there are whole lines of products designed to soothe, rejuvenate, moisturize, and protect men’s skin. While your man may not admit to you that he worries about the appearance of his skin, most men today are making an effort to reduce signs of aging such as wrinkles and age spots. In all the ways us women worry, so do men, they just are not as open about discussing it as we do. I do not foresee men discussing the newest eye creams available while drinking beer at the pub, but even if they do not discuss it, we know they are thinking about it.

While most skin problems affect all ethnicities equally, some problems tend to affect African-American skin differently or more frequently. These differences suggest that black men should pay special attention to their skincare routines, especially since some products can even discolor or damage darker skin tones.
1. Ingrown hairs. While most men have suffered from ingrown hairs or razor burn, black men are especially prone to this condition because of their highly-curved body hairs. Because the hair tends to be more tightly curled, it has a greater chance of curving and growing back into the skin after shaving. This causes painful shaving bumps and irritation on the face and neck, and can only become more aggravated with further shaving.
Although it’s a common problem, there’s no need to simply accept it as a natural danger of shaving: by keeping skin exfoliated, changing your razor after 4-5 uses and following with a product with dermatologically-active ingredients, you can greatly reduce the occurrence of ingrown hairs. If you find yourself suffering a great deal from these skin irritations, consider cutting down on the amount of times you shave, since frequent shaving too close to the skin will trap hairs inside the follicles.

Yeast infections are not just a woman’s problem. Although not as common as candida problems in women, candida in men -also known as a yeast overgrowth–leads to unpleasant but treatable symptoms.
When working properly, candida aids the digestive tract and protects the body from harmful bacteria. However, it is when the immune system is compromised that the candida can overgrow and become a detriment to the body. Men who have AIDS commonly suffer from oral yeast infections, but one does not have to suffer from AIDS in order to develop candida overgrowth and yeast infections.
Typically the male yeast infection is in the groin area and is known as a penile yeast infection. It can be very uncomfortable, showing itself in candida symptoms such as red rashes, itching, and burning at the head of the penis. Other possible symptoms include small, red bumps or white, cottage cheese like penile discharge. The discomfort is often heightened during and after sexual intercourse.
A doctor can help to diagnose the condition. With these types of candida symptoms it is better to receive a doctor’s advice in order to rule out more severe forms of penile infections or even sexually transmitted diseases.

Prostate massage has become increasingly popular over the last several years for two basic reasons-better prostate health and intense prostate orgasms that can often be produced from this medical based technique.
The obvious, most important question men usually ask is who it is for and what does it do. This medical based procedure is quite often performed on men who have a variety of prostate problems that can be relieved from ridding the prostate of a buildup of excess seminal fluid. As well, many doctors believe that stagnated seminal fluid might lead to the potential risk of a variety of prostate health problems. Thus, a massage for your prostate can lead to better overall prostate health and hopefully reduce or lessen the chance of a prostate problem later in life.
A very popular question about this procedure is can it be enjoyable and even highly erotic for men? The answer to this is a resounding “yes”. Many men achieve what is called a prostate orgasm from having their prostate stimulated in this way. A prostate orgasm is generally much more intense and of a longer lasting duration than many men typically experience. This could be the reason that often the prostate is referred to as the male g-spot.

The prostate is a walnut-size gland of the male mammalian reproductive system. Its main function is to secrete and store the seminal fluid (one of the constituents of sperm). In women, Skene’s glands are sometimes referred to as a female prostate. The most common problems of the prostate are benign prostatic hypertrophy, Prostatitis and prostate cancer.
The benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH) - is characterized by the fact that the volume of the prostate increases. In this case, the passage of urine is made difficult. BPH thus increases the risk of urinary retention (lack of ability to urinate) and infection of the prostate. It is often linked to the diminution of the male hormone production that occurs in older people. Age increases the risk of BPH; that’s why prostate issues occur more in older males. There is a certain increase in prostate volume at 75% in men over 50 years. Clinical signs may be present in almost 100% of men over 90 years.
Conventionally, several drugs are available: doxazosin , Flomax, Proscar and Avodart. They act on the muscles that control the emptying of the bladder. More recently, drugs that reduce the level of the hormone that causes the increase in prostate volume were allowed on the market. Those available drugs have greatly helped improve the quality of life of those suffer from BPH. However, none of existing drugs so far can not cure BPH. The surgery may be necessary.

Male menopause symptoms — the first question a man asks about male menopause is usually about declining sexual function. Can I continue to perform? Will I still enjoy sex? Will sex even matter to me in the future? Somewhere is his 40’s, maybe 50’s, a man may notice that things are not the same as they used to be in the bedroom and he begins to worry. While male menopause symptoms are not just about sex, concerns in this area are real and with reason.
In the United States alone, perhaps as many as 30 million men will at sometime suffer from erectile dysfunction, the most recognized male menopause symptom. And if the other symptoms of menopause are added in, it’s clear that tens of millions of men in their 40’s and older may need treatment.
Here are common male menopause symptoms (also called andropause):
- Declining Sex Drive - not only does the man have less interest in sex, he will also have sex less frequently. From an average of 3-4 times a week in his twenties, sexual frequency declines to about once a week or so in his fifties to 1-2 times a month in his late seventies. One of the related male menopause symptoms is that sex becomes less enjoyable for the man.
- Fatigue and Less Energy - once able to be on the go all day and into the night, now the male’s activity pace slows considerably. The same physical activity now takes longer with considerably more effort.
- Body Composition - if a man is sedentary, he will lose about 10% of his lean body mass every 10 years after age 30. Lean body mass loss means loss of muscle! This muscle loss is generally accompanied by an increase in fat mass and a tendency to become obese. And obesity is related to numerous health and wellness problems. Read the rest of this entry »

Most men who don’t know how to maintain prostate health will at some stage have prostate problems. These can range from mild and manageable to unbearable, even fatal. Certainly a lot of suffering and distress can be avoided by learning how to take care of this important gland. This article will highlight some common prostate problems and explain how to improve and maintain the health of the prostate.
The two most common forms of prostate problems are prostatitis and benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH - non-cancerous enlarged prostate - frequently also called benign prostatic hyperplasia). Prostatitis is an inflammation of the prostate gland. Inflammation causes some degree of swelling due to increased blood flow to the affected tissue. This inflammation can affect men of all ages. Generally however, an enlarged prostate is associated with men who are over the age of 40 years.
The prostate gland wraps around the base of the urethra (the tube that transports the urine from the bladder through the penis). The prostate is described as being encapsulated, meaning it is surrounded by a tough exterior layer. This means that as it swells it is easier for the space within the tube running through it (the urethra) to be compressed than it is for other expansion of the prostatic tissue. When the gland gets larger due to either prostatitis or BPH it therefore obstructs the flow of urine. As compression on the urethra increases, the bladder is unable to empty completely, the outflow of urine is impeded and bladder infections become frequent.
